Dave
Owner
(952) 471-7000 Dave grew up in the boating business and officially took the helm at Wayzata Marine in 2001, purchasing the company from his father. A lifelong boating enthusiast, he recently moved to Lake Minnetonka, where he is able to fully embrace life on the water. He enjoys taking his wife, their two children, and their newest family member, his granddaughter, out on the lake whenever they are home visiting, often with the family Alaskan Klee Kai, Aurora, in tow. Dave is also an active member of Lafayette Club, where he enjoys playing pickleball and paddle tennis. On summer days, you will often find him boating to local lake favorites like Lord Fletcher's and Maynards, combining his love for boating, community, and good company.
Bob
General Manager
(952) 471-7000 Bob joined the company in 2002 and was promoted to General Manager in 2012. Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, he is a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan. Outside of work, Bob enjoys spending time with his two children. His daughter is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin Madison, and his son is in high school.
Brandon
Bookkeeper
(952) 471-7000 Brandon came on board as a Bookkeeper in early 2024, bringing with him valuable accounting experience from the auto dealership world. His passion for the boating industry makes him a natural fit for the team. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending time on the lake, golfing, playing volleyball, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings.
Rob
Sales Team
(952) 471-7000 Rob joined the company in 2007 and has been a dedicated part of the team ever since. He lives near Delano, Minnesota with his wife, their two kids, and a bunny named Peter. Rob enjoys playing hockey and spending time boating with his family on Lake Minnetonka, though Peter the rabbit prefers to stay dry.
Mikkee
Office Assistant
(952) 471-7000 Mikkee has been a key member of the Wayzata Marine team since 2005. He wears many hats and keeps operations running smoothly with his trademark efficiency and dedication. Known for his ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once, Mikkee is truly indispensable to the team. Outside of work, he enjoys attending car shows, golfing, boating, and traveling, especially to Southwest Florida. He is also a movie buff, with Back to the Future topping his list of favorites.
Will
Yard Operations
Will joined Wayzata Marine in 2021, bringing with him a lifelong love for Lake Minnetonka, where he grew up boating and fishing. He is passionate about life on the water and enjoys hockey, golf, and Minnesota Vikings football. Will is also the reigning Wayzata Marine pickleball champion, two years running, teaming up with fellow staff member Jason to hold the title.
Aaron
Technician
Aaron has been a valued technician at Wayzata Marine for six years. A dedicated father to his son, he enjoys spending his free time watching hockey, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, and riding motorcycles. Aaron is also an avid traveler, with favorite destinations that include Portugal, Thailand, and Maui, each offering a mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation that he loves.
Carson
Technician
Carson joined Wayzata Marine in the summer of 2025 as a technician, bringing five years of hands on experience repairing RVs. His love for the outdoors extends to the water. He spends time at his wife's family cabin on Pokegama Lake, where he enjoys fishing, wakesurfing, and soaking up lake life. Carson's mechanical expertise and passion for being on the water make him a great addition to the team.

Marc has been with Wayzata Marine since 2020 in our Service Department.
Emmanuel
Cleaning & Preperation
Emmanuel, known around the shop as Manny, joined Wayzata Marine in the spring of 2024. He grew up in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and is proud of his African roots. His mother is from Nigeria and his father is from Togo. Outside of work, Manny enjoys playing and watching basketball, and he grew up playing football as well. He is also a dog lover and spends time with his Great Dane Pitbull mix, Mercedes. Manny brings a great energy to the team and is always up for a good laugh or a friendly game.
Jason
Service Manager
Jason recently returned home to Minnesota after nearly a decade working at a leading financial firm in New York City, where he focused on consumer products and digital innovation. Now that he is settling back into life in Minneapolis with his wife and young daughter, he is excited to channel his energy into marketing at Wayzata Marine, a company with deep personal roots and a mission he believes in. Though new to the marketing world, Jason brings a passion for continuous improvement, a love of learning, and a drive to enhance the customer experience at every turn. When he is not at the marina, you will likely find him running, skiing, golfing, or enjoying time on the lake. He describes himself as a science and space enthusiast, always curious and eager to explore new ideas.
Tanner
Parts & Warranty
Tanner joined the team at the end of 2025. Tanner lives near Buffalo, Minnesota and is an avid horseman and fabricator. In his free time, he is either riding one of his two horses, working in his metal shop, or helping out on the family farm. Tanner also enjoys time on the lake wake boarding, wake surfing, and an occasional fishing day.
Brady
Technician
Brady is a certified marine and powersports mechanic with a strong technical foundation and hands on experience across multiple platforms. He attended the Marine & Powersports program at Central Lakes College where he earned his degree along with advanced manufacturer certifications, building expertise in system diagnostics, maintenance, and performance. Brady is an awesome addition to the Wayzata Marine team.
Tony
Technician
Tony recently graduated from a technical school in Fargo, North Dakota, where he studied Powersports Technology. He has always been a hands on individual, especially when it comes to working with engines and all things mechanical. Originally from Minnesota, Tony enjoys working at Wayzata Marine because he loves helping customers get out on the water and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience. Outside of work, he enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time outdoors.
Taylor
Shop Foreman
Taylor grew up in Zimmerman, Minnesota, where his passion for boating began at an early age. His interest in all things boats started when his mother gave him a magazine dedicated to learning the ins and outs of the boating industry. Encouraging his passion, she later suggested he attend Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida, where Taylor went on to graduate and further develop his knowledge and skills. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending as much time as possible on the water with family and friends, making the most of every opportunity to enjoy the boating lifestyle he loves.
